Best Of The West R/C Dirt Oval Series

Unfortunately I’m going to have to cancel next weekends race. I’ve had some personal issues come up that I have to resolve before anything else. I will add up points and get awards for the winners in each class. I’m sorry to have to cancel the last race but I have to take care of family first. I’ll add up points soon and post up the winners as soon as I can. Thank you to everybody that supported the series this year.

A screen shot is the best I can do since this post was in a group page but It looks like CA is not the only area with this problem. It helps the hobby when we are all on the same page.

Ok, one more correction, sorry, but everybody needs their moment, lol.

After a long hard day of racing at Nor-Cal Hobbies in San Jose, the Rookie Class points leader is taking a well deserved nap on his way home. Thanks to all who attended today’s event, we should have more pictures, results and series points updated tomorrow.

Doors open at 7:30am tomorrow. We should be racing at 10:30am. See everybody tomorrow.

Little practice going down at Nor-Cal Hobbies for race #5 of the Beat of The West Series.

For Next year I have decided to drop a class from the official line up of BOTW classes. The 17.5 foam tire latemodel class has not had enough participation through the series. With the elimination of this class I’d like to consider running a class that more racers will be interested in and possibly be easier for newer racers to compete in. I’d like to hear from everybody what class you’d like to see for next year. Let’s get a discussion going. Let’s vote. Please stay positive.
