Reduce sodium intake for lower blood pressure and a healthier heart.
Always check the amount of sodium and the serving size listed on the Nutrition Facts label. Fresh foods are generally lower in sodium than processed foods. With many of us stocking up on canned foods, look for phrases such as “reduced sodium” or “no salt added”.

Be sure to include some food sources of probiotics such as yogurt, kefir, aged cheeses, fermented vegetables (ie. kimchi or sauerkraut), and fermented soy products (ie. tempeh) into your routine to improve gut immunity.
