Many of us have asked, "what got Dave to become a DJ?" From what I gathered, he started taking dance lessons at Starlite in Sunnyvale in 1990s, then volunteered as DJ which then became his day job. David Weise commented being a DJ needs a caring person to feel what dancers like to listen to. If not paying attention and caring for the people, the party will go downhill quite fast. Dave cared about the dancers. Gail Stevens mentioned Dave's legacy is providing the music for us to continue having fun dancing.
