Our Q’s had an eventful event-filled weekend this past weekend at the 2025 CA NV Speedo Sectionals hosted by CCA! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Congratulations to our Q’s who competed at Sectionals this past weekend and placing 2nd overall in the large team division👏🏽⭐️💙🖤

Congratulations to Nathan Foucu for winning the individual high point for the boys scoring 114 overall points👏🏽 Nice job!

Special shoutout to S5 swimmers Aria Pon, Ayla Burke and Pacha Salistra for absolutely killing it at their first sectionals swim meet! More to come about their awesome achievements this past weekend⭐️ Way to represent QSS and S5🥳

Lastly we’d like to say Thank you to CCA swimming for hosting a great Sectionals meet and we’re excited to see you again in June🎉 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Aria Pons had an amazing swim last night, not only winning the 500 free B final but also getting her sectional cut🔥

Jack Cameron has had some awesome swims in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke. In the 100 breast he got his short course Winter Junior National👏🏽 In his 200, he dropped 9 seconds and got second overall in the B final with a new futures cut.

Leah Raegan turned a bonus cut into a new sectional in her 200 free! Going a best time and representing QSS in the C final! Great job Leah🥳

New Senior Cuts 🚨

Congratulations to Aria Pon from S5 for getting her 1st Sectional cut in the 400 IM with a time of 4:37.87🔥

Gabrielle Liu was on fire this weekend and picked up another futures cut, but this time in the 200 breast with a time of 2:21.62 🤩 She finished 4th in the A final👏🏽

Lulu Groen had some amazing swims yesterday where she crushed the 200 free and got a new sectional with a time of 1:53.51🥳

Lastly special shoutout to our weekend warriors Ciara Looney, Alex Murphy & Lulu Groen for staying strong and swimming all their prelim & final swims yesterday⭐️🫶Great job on pushing through the pain and throwing down some great swims 🤩

Congratulations to these G5 girls for getting new senior cuts during Day 1 finals at our senior open meet today!

Gabrielle Liu crushed the 100 breaststroke & got her futures cut going a 1:05.40🔥 (check out Gabrielle & her fans!)

Leah Raegen broke 54 and got her sectional cut in the 100 free with a 53.93👏🏽 Awesome swim!

This past weekend our Q’s competed at the Brian Malick Memorial Zone 1 South Championship Meet! Take a look at some of these 📸 taken at the meet ⭐️

Congratulations to Ozzy Su for winning the 9-10 high point award and to Pasha Salistra for winning the 13-14 high point award👏🏽

Special shoutout to our Stroke School swimmers for showing up, giving it their all, and earning crucial points for the team score! For some of those swimmers it was their first time competing and they did awesome! Every race, every stroke, and every effort made a difference—great job, team!

Yesterday Coach Andre and G5 swimmer Tyler Porter flew out to Colorado Springs for the 2025 National Select camp! Big congratulations to Tyler Porter for being selected to attend this camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs! We’re so excited to see him representing QSS and happy to see Coach Andre there as well! What an incredible opportunity — we’re proud of you! Keep up the great work👏🏽

Back where it all started! 🌊💙 QSS alumni college swimmers coming together for one more practice before Christmas—because there’s no place like home for the holidays. 🎄💪 Shoutout to alumni QSS swimmers & coaches Maya & Brian for getting back in the water for a fun practice with their old teammate & friend Coach Sophia!👏🏽 We’re proud to have our alumni come back to train with the team in between winter training & the holidays!

Here’s your 2024 Winter Junior National Championships Recap:

Congratulations to Malia Groen for smashing team records in the 500, 1000 and the 1650! Malia finished 15th overall and got her Winter Juniors in the 500 free with a time of 4:52.78🔥 When swimming her mile Malia got a new best time in her 1000 free split & also broke the team record with a time of 10:04.79👏🏽 To top off this impressive set of swims Malia dropped TEN seconds in her mile to get her Summer Juniors National cut & the team record as well🎉 Great swims this weekend Malia🌟

Zoe Childers had an awesome weekend as well, and destroyed her own team record in the 200 fly! She swam a 1:58.39 and finished 11th overall. Great Job this weekend 🌟

Tyler Porter had an awesome weekend as well! Beating his own record in the 50 free, Tyler swam a 19.49! He swam three 50 frees under the 20 second mark this past weekend‼️ With this time Tyler finished 2nd place overall, got a new team record and got his U.S Open cut👏🏽

Our 15-16 boys 200 free relay broke the National Age Group record!!! Congrats once again to Tyler, Nathan, Clark & Isaac for an outstanding relay swim👏🏽
