We are celebrating this year! Looking back through my history with Zumba, I came across this video back when I was just a Zumba participant in awesome Valeria Soto 's classes. This was at Willow Glen's "Dancin' on the Avenue" event. I was on the right in the magenta tank and black pants. Truth be told, It is humbling for me to watch this video. My shoulders were more hunched forward overall while dancing (I'm a tech worker, after all), I wasn't quite sure what to do with my arms during the merengue, and my hips weren't really moving as loosely as they do now. But, I remember how fun it was to be up there representing her Zumba class! If you are currently or have ever been a participant in my class, what I hope you take away from watching this video is that we all had a starting point and we can all grow-all while having fun doing it!
