Repost from Yuri: Yesterday I went back to California to handle a few things, but I couldn’t skip a visit to the CTA headquarters.

Stepping back into this room hit deep… memories of endless rounds, sweat-soaked mats, and days where pain and progress walked hand in hand.
Titles were conquered here, friendships forged for life, and lessons learned that shaped who I’m today, far beyond the mats.

Grateful for every moment, every teammate, and for Professor Caio Terra’s guidance through it all.

Now in Florida, leading my own program and building something new, but the foundation, the discipline, and the heart all started here.

It’s always an amazing time when I visit . Congrats to Boris and Vlad on 2nd degrees, these two have believed in me since the beginning, and it’s been amazing to see their personal growth, as well as the growth of their academy!

Congratulations to Ivan and Sasha on their first degree, and to everyone who was promoted today! Keep training, remember to enjoy the journey, and can’t wait to come back!

This weekend we celebrated the re grand opening of in Modesto!! Congrats to and the entire sensei family! It was an amazing time with even better people!!
