Try to avoid small cuts at all cost!

Good morning to everyone, especially this brass shower fixture.
Loving how the stacked Cloe tile from really creates a unique subway look. The range in off white hues really gives depth and dimension to the small shower enclosure. • Designer Tip ~ these Turkish towels are so soft and elegant. I recommend stocking up! ...and if you’re debating to put an overhead light in the shower/bath enclosure, the debate is over! Do it! PS. Did you know they make “fan cans” now?!?! So you can actually have the fan and the can light in one!

I honestly love designing bathrooms! The inspiration for this Jack and Jill bathroom began with the accent tile from Cement Tile Shop in Atlas III. Cement tile adds that handmade custom look to any space, but we just love how it looks as a backsplash/wainscoting along the plumbing wall. I designed the vanity to compliment the “vintage” vibe of the bathroom. Quartz countertops from Vadara are the perfect balance of sophistication and functionality. Those Restoration Hardware sconces tie in the mirror and brass fixtures from Newport Brass. ✨Designer Tip • when starting a new project, get inspired. Find wallpaper, or tile, lighting, or artwork that you absolutely love. Then from that starting point fill in the other elements by finding complimentary color tones and vibes.

✨If we live our lives with intention our homes should reflect that as well. Take a moment to look around your space. Does it bring you life or bring you down? If you feel it’s bringing you down take some time to think of how you use the space. How can you improve it? Get inspired by looking on Pinterest, Houzz, and of course Instagram with creative solutions. It could be starting with just one corner of your house by putting some of your favorite things there while also making it functional. For us right now we are spending a lot of time in our backyard. So we’ve created little sitting areas and reported plants, took out the weeds, and put out some decorative pillows. Now it feels so much more inviting and comfortable. It just takes intention. You’ll thank me for it later I promise 😉

So you are a guest in someone’s home and of course you need to wash up at some point. You walk into this gorgeous space greeted with a floating marble sink. I can’t think of anything more captivating than the very sought after exquisite Borghini Calacatta Marble from the oldest quarry in Italy. It doesn’t get any better than this! It’s a showstopper! You walk in and pick your jaw up from the floor...I think I actually hugged it when it arrived off the truck. LOL! I can’t help it. I have a love affair with fine stone. I get week in the knees and tears eyes when I see the perfect slab of marble. Ask my bestie, she’s witnessed it first hand. Moving on from my weird idiosyncratic behaviors...
Slab shopping is one of my favorite field trips with the client. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack and once you’ve found it it’s almost like you’ve adopted a new baby.
The other elements in the bathroom compliment the simplicity of form and color. By using BM 2019 Color of the Year and finishing off with brushed brass fixtures from and .hardware Dovetail mirror and sconces the room feels opulent but approachable. We couldn’t be happier with this Half Bathroom! Designer Tip • Always make your guests feel special by creating an inviting bathroom that smells heavenly, looks sumptuous, and gives a sense of wow!
