USAC Western Midgets is a dirt and pavement series with sealed Focus/HPD motors. Drivers are eligible for participation as young as 10 years old.
USAC Western Midgets is a West Coast develepmental racing series for dirt and pavement racing. Driver participation starts at 10 years old in the Restricted Class and 12 years old in the Unrestricted Class. The series cars run a sealed motor from either Ford or Honda. The series runs approximately 10 pavement and 10 dirt races per season in the Western States. The series runs in conjunction with USAC and participants are eligible for USAC points and Championships.

UWMS DRIVER/TEAM UPDATE:
UWMS Drivers and Teams,
We are pleased to announce that after much discussion, UWMS will be joining ranks with BCRA for the 2020 Season and beyond!
UWMS Drivers and Teams are invited to attend the BCRA Banquet in Rippon, CA on January 25, 2020. RSVPS (See attached link) must be received on or before January 18, 2020. Top three drivers and Rookie of the Year will be awarded!
2020 will prove to be an exciting year for our series under BCRA as we will run on the same nights and follow the schedule of the BCRA series.
The series has been in discussions with multiple new teams and drivers and we are excited about their addition to the series in 2020!
On behalf of UWMS Series we wish all Teams and Drivers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe holiday season!

See the article below. Speed2 (D2) midgets are actively racing in Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina and soon Idaho. It would be nice to create a D2/Focus series so we can join the growth and not just stagnate. Give it some thought.
