Heroes Martial Arts is proud to launch the Executive Class, a focused early-morning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program designed for committed professionals.
When: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM
Where: Heroes Martial Arts, Downtown San Jose
The class is led by Gumby, Founder of Heroes Martial Arts and 5th Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, bringing nearly 30 years of active mat experience and modern, evolving teaching methods.
Program Focus
Gumby’s teaching philosophy centers on three pillars:

• Technical development
• Intelligent game planning
• Strengthening the mind and body

This structured program is designed for students who take Jiu Jitsu seriously and recognize its impact beyond the mat—on discipline, resilience, and performance in daily life.

No regular class at Heroes Martial Arts this Monday (Memorial Day)

We will hold our open mats in solidarity with our friends at Baret Yoshida’s submission systems honoring our friend Dominic Damien, who passed in the plane crash in San Diego yesterday. Teflon Dom was kind, intelligent and became a big part of the Heroes team and family when he was living in San Jose and we’re stunned by his loss.
