Welcome to the Capistrano Boxing Gym family, Coach Charles Matthews! 💥🤼

We’re excited to welcome Charles Matthews as our Head Wrestling Coach at Capistrano Boxing Gym.

Coach Charles currently serves as the Head Wrestling Coach at San Clemente High School and Triton Wrestling Academy, where he has developed athletes from across the country, with the majority of his coaching experience rooted right here in California.

As a competitor, Charles wrestled for five years at the University of Iowa, earning a spot on the NCAA National Championship team during his freshman season. He brings a championship pedigree, elite technical knowledge, and a passion for helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

His leadership, character, and commitment to excellence make him a perfect fit for our culture.
