Join us for our fourth installment!

Bring your skills from different dance backgrounds and journey to outer space through a subtle and intimate connection! 🌟

We will walk/drive over to Thai Boat and have a meal together

Social: 9:00 - 12:00 AM 🌚

We will dance into the night to dark, transcendent, and sensual beats.

We ask that on the dance floor you keep conversations quiet or move them outside and ask that you keep your phones away in order to help everyone stay rooted in the present.

Micro fusion is a dance focused on small movements, body isolations, and being in sync with your partner. As a fusion style you can incorporate basics and ideas from other dances while leaving the big showy movements behind. All dance levels welcome!

Two years in the making, this weekend flew by. A big thank you to everyone involved 😁 and .elena for bringing their amazing ability and energy to our small town, for helping me build our amazing community, for helping me run this event, Bethany for her taxi services and help with lighting, and Jon for showing me how cool kizomba was years ago ❤️

The journey has been full of ups and downs and twists and turns. I had hoped that something like this would be possible, but I was never sure it would happen. I feel grateful to see our kiz community grow and to be able to host an event like this.

Join us for the biggest Urban Kiz event to ever hit the Central Coast! Flying in international artists, this will be an event you just can’t miss 😁 We will start the day with 3 hours of incredible workshops, relax and chill over dinner, and then dance the night away to your favorite Urban kiz tracks! This is an amazing opportunity to elevate your skills or learn some new ones. Both Hovsep and Anika will be available for private lessons Sunday afternoon to help grow our community even more 🔥 I hope you are as excited as we are! Open to all levels and no partner required!

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Urban Kiz workshops at World Rhythm and Motion Studio (15 minute break)

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Dinner, we will head over to SLO public market for a choice of amazing dining options

9:30 PM - 12:30 AM: Social

Hovsep ( ) 🇺🇸: An internationally renowned Urban Kiz instructor with 8 years of experience in Kizomba and Urban Kiz. Originally from Armenia and now based in San Francisco, Hovsep brings a wealth of knowledge through his training with multiple influential artists, such as Audi and Laura, Pamelita, Marietta, Tony Viser and Carla, Lilian and Ivana, among many others. He has also competed in the Olympiads of Kizomba in 2023 and since then, has taught all over US, Canada, France, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Romania and Dubai. He is now known for his creativity, musicality, and footwork. Hovsep brings a new flavor of teaching and is always helping grow the UrbanKiz community in the U.S.

Anika Elena (.elena ) 🇦🇹: coming all the way from Austria has performed on stage since an early age and was gifted with a broad dancing background in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Belly dancing. The professional singer and dancer found her passion in Kizomba at the end of 2017 and joined the Kizz Ryders team in 2018. She is now a well known international artist specializing in Urban Kiz and Tarraxo.

Check out the new adjusted times and rates starting next week in May! With so many students moving to Level 2, only one Open Level class is going to be offered. We will now start at 7:10 to allow more time between our class and the previous one at the studio. The open level class is for both beginners and more experienced dancers!
