Cal Poly Sailing

Another year, another incredible AFF! To all our alumni, friends, and family who came out to Morro Bay to reunite, hangout with the team, sail/race, and support us by contributing to our biggest fundraiser of the year, thank you! We loved having you all and we hope you got a chance to see us in action and get on the water while the wind was in town. We truly wouldn’t be able to do any of this (the sailing, racing, connecting, and celebrating) without the support and generousity we receive from you all, and our gratitude cannot be expressed nearly enough.
Thank you to our outstanding Fundraising (and FUNraising) Chair, Anna () for putting on an extraordinary event. Additionally, thank you to the Fineberg Family for their spectacular contributions to the event, including beautifying the annual silent auction and cooking a delicious dinner.

ANTEATER 🐜😋 Oh boy, very bittersweet regatta recap incoming… Thank you for hosting our last open regatta of the school year! We always have a blast at this regatta and could not ask for a more perfect way to celebrate wrapping up the year and sending off our senior sailors. Cal Poly got 2nd in Varsity and 4th in JV! What an epic way to go out, keep it up Mustangs! 🥈🐎 Also, thank you to for the amazing photos!

PCCSC Women’s Team Race and Charley Dole Fleet Race Champs recap! 🥉 Six of our sailors, including three of our Team Race team members, made their way up to Bellingham, Washington to compete in both the team race and fleet race championships, hosted by and ! We placed 3rd in team race and 6th in fleet race, all while having a blast sailing in the PNW. We’ve loved seeing our Women’s team expand and excel and we’re already looking forward to traveling to more regattas to represent Cal Poly’s women athletes in the future! 🐎

Team Race Champs recap! Our Team Race team rocked it YET AGAIN at another team race regatta, placing 2nd!! 🥈 This regatta was hosted by , where the winds were light most of the weekend. Still, we always love getting out there and competing. Great job Mustangs, super exciting stuff!

PCCSC South Designate recap! To kick off our Spring Break, these Cal Poly sailors made their way up to St. Francis Yacht Club in the Bay for a great weekend of competitive sailing and beautiful breeze. Of the 20 boats, our top boat placed 6th! Thanks for hosting, we’re already looking forward to the next one 😎 Stay tuned for more regatta recaps, we’ve had such an epic quarter of sailing and can’t wait to catch you all up.
