🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of Headstrong Fit 🏋🏽💪🏼

Ten years ago, Headstrong Fit started with a simple dream, a garage, a driveway, and a street. What began as a small space to train, sweat, and grow together quickly became something much bigger than fitness.

From those early days, we made it work wherever we could. We utilized school parking lots, trained outside, adapted, grew, and eventually found our gym space in San Luis Obispo. Along the way, we took risks by expanding into other locations in Nipomo and Atascadero, and we wouldn’t change taking those risks for anything. Every step, every challenge, and every leap of faith helped shape Headstrong Fit into what it is today.

At the heart of Headstrong Fit has always been community. Training together, showing up for one another, and building strength far beyond the gym floor are values we will always carry. Whether you have joined a class, worked out in open gym, received personal training, attended a free community class, enjoyed our recovery space, or made friends for life, thank you. You are part of the Headstrong Fit family, and we are so grateful for you.

To all of our staff, coaches, and trainers: thank you. Your dedication, energy, leadership, and belief in this mission have helped us reach dreams we once only talked about. Headstrong Fit would not be what it is without each of you.

Competing in the Legends Division in the Semi Finals of The Crossfit Games in Del Mar, CA this past weekend was an incredible thing to watch. Finishing 15th out of 36 athletes is FANTASTIC! Stepping on the floor makes you NUMBER 1 in our books!

👉🏽Here’s a message from Robby to his Headstrong Fam . . .

“Although it wasn’t the finish I was hoping for—we always want a little bit more or a little bit better, right?—I’m proud of how I stood up against the best in the country.

Being a pretty busy guy, I definitely didn’t train a lot of CrossFit-specific stuff, but staying consistent with Headstrong classes and fitness in general for decades allowed me to step into the ring with these Titans.

It was absolutely humbling to step out onto the floor. A lot of times, my nerves got the best of me, but I know I pushed it, and that’s what I’m proud of.

The most amazing part of it all, by far, was seeing Bre, Charlie, and all of my amazing friends from the best gym ever cheering me on after each grueling workout. They kept my head high, and it even made me a little emotional seeing them all as I entered the arena.

Thank you all so much for your messages and for cheering me on from home. I love you all!”
