Tapping Into The Wisdom Of The Body...

We are delighted to invite you to join another virtual 90-minute 'Falling Through Our Stories' Circle, with Jolanda van den Berg this Saturday, Jan 8th at 7:30AM PST!

The theme of this upcoming circle?
How Do I Respond to the Suffering of Loved Ones?

Loss, grief, hardship and suffering are universal aspects of the human experience. For many, witnessing a dear one in difficulty is often harder to endure than one's own challenges. Our love and fear can often seem inextricably bound up, and our capacity to make a difference can sometimes seem painfully limited. How do we open our hearts in compassion without losing ourselves in the overwhelm of another's pain? How do we navigate our own anxieties? Where does our true response-ability lie?

Participants will have the chance to reflect on these questions and send in their responses ahead of time. As with the last gathering, there will be an opportunity for a pre-selected participant to dialog with Jolanda during the circle around particular challenges or questions that are alive for them, while the rest of us hold space as silent witnesses. There will also be time at the close for shared reflections and questions from the circle.

I can’t believe how much had done for my personal growth and development of a CA community in the Bay Area. When I arrived I had to find the right language in English, I was teaching 2-3 people at a time (for quite a while), I was constantly questioning if what I was teaching would come across the way I was hoping, if I was teaching the right way at all… It took a while to trust on the fact that a new teacher with a new style would work. That CA has something unique to offer in the yoga world.

I had a small batch of props for a group of about 10 people. And an amazing support from Olivia - the studio owner - who always believed in my ideas and guided me on the way. Slowly the community grew, and after a downfall during Covid came back stronger than ever.

It’s not an understatement to say that I truly love YoLA, the teachers and all the students and staff I met on the way.

Roberta is a amazing intuitive guide, teacher and healer, who has the unique ability to tune into people’s restrictions and unveil the path out of that stuckness.
