I found some ancient relics from 1984 at the school Library. Student David J Schultz designed a disc golf course featuring tee pads made of railroad ties and home-made modified disc golf baskets. Disc golf course for Cal Poly has been in the works for a long time.

Future locations. It'll be a hike, but it will be worth it.

Disc Golf (or frisbee golf) is becoming more and more popular as word spreads how fun and healthy disc golf can be for you and your family. I've created this website for a class assignment, but I am hoping to potentially turn this into a senior project next fall. I imagine the location of this exciting new course to be up and through the picturesque Poly Canyon, to the northeast of Cal Poly's campus. This could be a great opportunity for both the local community and for Cal Poly community as well! Please like my page and be sure to check back often to see updates regarding our efforts!
