So why deadlifts and why are they so heavily practiced in the CrossFit world? 🔥🔥
Deadlifts are a foundational strength-training exercise that offer a multitude of health benefits! As one of the best exercises to train your hip extensors, deadlifts simultaneously reduce lower back pain and activate your core!
There are multiple ways to notify this movement including a sumo deadlift (this is where you adapt to a wider stance, with your feet turned 45 degrees or more outward) or a single leg deadlift (where you lean forward, one leg stays straight at the hip as your other foot leaves the floor and extends behind you).
