Cal Poly SLO Bowling Team

This past year, the Cal Poly Bowling Team was very fortunate enough to have 3 outstanding members be recognized by Cal Poly Club Sports! Congratulations to Theo Leier and Donald Kent for Newcomer of the year and Most Valued Player of the bowling team awards respectively. Also, huge congratulations to Christian Low for his Most Inspirational Player on the bowling team award, and his Club Sports MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR 2018-2019 award!! This is the first time our team has won a Club Sports Award, and we have only been part of the club sports organization officially this last year! His name and award will be showcased in the Cal Poly Club Sports office for years to come! Way to go guys!! Can't wait to see what's in store for this year!!

Tonight at 6 will be our first official practice of the year! Even if you missed tryouts, come check us out at Mustang Lanes. Have class? We will be at the lanes until at least 8 PM, feel free to come anytime!

We are so happy to announce that the Cal Poly Bowling Team has been elected to be a part of the Cal Poly Club Sports council! The team worked hard this season to earn this position, with Joey and Christian attending all the club sports meetings this year and getting the team to participate in ASI events.

Thank you so much to the Club Sports Coordinator, Phil Ruskin, for giving us this amazing opportunity. Thank you to the Club Sports executive council, and all club sports teams. Also, congratulations to Cal Poly Swim Club and Cal Poly Club Golf on being elected as well!

This is a huge step for next season, and we couldn't be more excited!

This last weekend concluded our season as we endured fun, but challenging patterns at the San Jose Tournament. Overall, the team has greatly improved throughout the year, and we look to progress further for the next year. Our new recruits have done an amazing job adapting to the collegiate atmosphere, and it looks like the team has incredible potential for the future. The Cal Poly Bowling Team will continue to practice in the off season and become the best that we can be. The future definitely looks bright for our bowlers!

This last weekend, the team participated in UNLV's hosted tournament in Las Vegas, NV. The pattern was difficult, but our very own Noah Wasson managed to figure it out, and ended up averaging very well for the first day. The second day was entirely baker. The team managed to keep their heads up for the whole weekend, while having fun and gaining great experience! Now we are gearing up for a tournament in San Jose next weekend!
