Provo, Utah seventh grader Angelina Alder had quite the world record-breaking performance on Sunday in Renton, Washington at the Brooks PR Invitational.

The 13-year-old won the Middle School Mile in 4:38.25, setting a personal record by over two seconds and lowering her own age-group world record in the event. Alder even ran faster than all the high school competitors, as her time wound up being the quickest of the day across three mile races.

Maddie Fletcher finished 2nd Overall Woman, and 1st in her age-group at the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon this past Sunday in San Francisco! Maddie recorded a fantastic 2 hour 37 minute time over the tough 1.6 Mile Swim, 17 Mile Bike, and 7.6 Mile Run Course. CONGRATULATIONS, Maddie!!! We are all VERY PROUD of YOU!
(*1537 total athletes, 30th overall, 323 Women 2nd Overall, 1st Place 25-29 age group 67 athletes)
