More good shots at G2 Motorsports Park by Joseph Davison

There was some great racing to be had at G2 this weekend! Sunday we had a few challenges come up but the team kept calm and handled things like pros resulting in claiming a Top Five finish! We enjoyed the new track and hope the rumors of return are true for next year's schedule. Next up is Harris Hill in May.

Today was a great success! We finished 3rd in class and 3rd overall! The car felt fantastic and communicated beautifully. We had smooth pit stops and every lap was hard earned with fun competition. We're looking forward to the green flag tomorrow!

We're getting geared up for the 2026 Race Season! First up in the Texas Regional Cup is the brand new G2 Motorsports park. We're always excited for the challenge of learning a new track and we'll have the camera rolling, so be sure to tune in to the stream next weekend!

So it seems the fuel injectors were full of fine silty debris on Sunday afternoon and they've been shipped out for servicing. The entire fuel system will be getting thoroughly cleaned or replaced. This car is in its 7th year of racing and Sunday was its 3rd DNF after a race start. That's reliability to be proud of in endurance racing, but I'd prefer 0 DNF's.

While diagnosing the injector issues a few electrical inconsistencies caught my eye on the laptop display, and depinning harness connectors revealed hidden corrosion at the wire crimps. Top is old, bottom is the replacement harness that will be going in. Heads up to my fellow racers to check that stuff.

We're stoked about the schedule for next year with multiple tracks in Texas and are looking forward to being very busy racing!

What an eventful race weekend at Harris Hill! We made podium on Saturday despite getting a flat on the front left and losing laps changing it, but made a charge back up the pack and claimed 3rd in class and 3rd overall! Sunday we were holding 2nd in class and 2nd overall until we began having issues with the car running lean in the third stint. We changed a few parts but ultimately decided to call it in order to preserve the engine. Overall, it was a fun and successful weekend!
