Plyoballs are a good tool to have in the toolbox, but can quickly cause more harm than good if not programmed properly. They should also be seen as more than a way to warmup. We take a deeper look at a player’s individualized mechanics, and apply certain drills and throwing patterns to their workload. It’s important to know what your pitcher needs to focus on before telling them to rip a 32oz ball senselessly into a wall.

If done properly, plyoballs can:
- Clean up a pitcher’s arm path
- Fix timing and command issues
- Build overall arm strength & speed
- Increase velocity

The Pitching Lab (powered by MISL Baseball) is essentially complete and ready for launch 🚀 Pitchers will have a better understanding of their mechanics and arsenal with the use of high-speed cameras & Rapsodo.

Our hitters were not neglected this off-season. They will face consistent and challenging velo along with nasty breaking balls by using our new Hack Attack machine.

First official practice for the USA Prime - San Marcos HS team was this week. These guys will benefit a lot from the new toys. Here’s to a summer full of progress!

ABP will offer the following services:
- Initial and weekly assessments on a player’s strength, mobility, power output, and overall skill level
- Detailed and customized throwing programs dependent on age, work capacity, and current/future goals
- Pitch tracking technology used for each bullpen session
- Video to view and study throwing mechanics
- Learn the core fundamentals of pitching in game situations
