Most the time you are consistent because you have someone holding you accountable.

In our case, it’s a group of people that hold you accountable.

People who are excited to see you when you walk in and wonder where you are when you don’t show up.

Once you get in the routine, it’s one of the most healthy addictions you will encounter within your life.

Women who lift!

Weight training is how you make serious changes to your body. The changes you are looking for.

I say this all the time- your not going to get bulky unless you are trying to get bulky. And if your trying to get bulky you better be eating like Andre the giant.

Metabolism makes a difference but even then, it’s a full time job to get real mass on you.

You come in, lift like , who’s deadlifting above, and eat a sustainable high protein diet with enough calories to let yourself get through the day- your going to be really happy with how you start to look and feel.

You might not lose a ton of pounds but the inches will disappear and you will find the shape you are looking for.

So get to it! Its not easy, but once you realize the benefits, you won’t stop!

If you want dramatic changes in your life and in your figure, find a gym and start lifting!

We get people all the time saying they don’t feel their butt when doing this Roman chair extension. That’s no good!

Watch the difference in the two extensions I preform here.

With a minor shift in rib and pelvis position, you’ll more then likely find that glute you’ve been missing in this exercise.

After 15 of these with or without weight, you should be feeling heavy hamstring and the glutes should be nice and worn out too.

Give it a pause at the top for a couple reps and get a solid squeeze through the body- lats, abs, glutes and hamstrings.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again.

Consistency is how you win.

Consistent good sleep.

Consistently eating enough good foods.

Consistently showing up to the gym with appropriate programming.

Nothing happens overnight. There isn’t a magic pill.

If you can figure out how to stay consistent in those avenues, you will flourish.

Workout B of Turkey Season…

We are building some muscles and working hard on bracing the body for some heavy lifts.

Whole body is pretty toast after this one- feel fantastic… sore glutes?

Dynamic warm up-5min

(with a 3sec pause at bottom)
A) SA Landmine Press 12/12

B)Assisted SL RDL 10/10(big bells here only!)
B)Heavy sled drag(60 yards)
3rds
C) Banded pulls(max effort)
C) 20s Sprint Assault bike(should feel like laying down after each round)

Ps… if your head doesn’t turn into a tomato after each deadlift…. Ur not trying hard enough 🍅 🦃

Program for the next 5 weeks.

This is a little bit from workout one…

We just got done with a strength phase and now we are all building some muscle around that strength!

Building up to a lot of reps and sets.

Nothing overly complicated- just making sure we do everything to it’s fullest potential.

These are the workouts I do. Based on what I think the body wants and needs.
I love lifting weights, getting strong and looking good.

Sounds easy, right?

Dedication to a healthy lifestyle is hard work though. We ALL no that.

Senor Will. 87 years old. Comes in three days a week and brightens the whole gym up. Gotten stronger, has made good friends, and his pickle ball has greatly improved. That’s a win in our book. Thanks for trusting us ✊🏻
