🍀 One of the best attractions about San Marcos is how we support local businesses, and develope our people🚀

Did you know each summer the Chamber facilitates EXTERNSHIPS for SMCISD teachers? This program gives them first-hand experience in local businesses, so they can integrate REAL-WORLD business practices into class curriculums.

This is one of several programs the SM Chamber coordinates to grow stronger connections between our public schools and business community.

Right now, over 25 San Marcos CISD teachers are working and gaining valuable insights, thanks to a long list of amazing participating businesses. Join us in thanking them along with CJ Odam, SMCISD Director of CTE, and Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area for this partnership.
