The 2017 Division III R.R.R.C Champion rugby club, representing the San Marcos area with Division II & IV sides currently.
Since establishing themselves in 2012, the San Marcos Greys had their greatest success during their 2016-17 campaign. The Greys went 8-2 in the Central division, with a point differential of 450 points. The club from San Marcos found themselves fighting with 31 other teams in the nation for a chance at a National Championship. But the first stop was the Red River Rugby Conference Championship in T

We stand United.
Along with the rest of the City of San Marcos, the Greys wish to pay our respects to Officer Justin Putnam as he gave his life to protect our community this past weekend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, as well as to the other two officers that were injured and are recovering. Thank you to the San Marcos Police Department, Hays County Sheriff's Office and local agencies watching over our communities and keeping them safe.

What a great rugby-filled weekend! We want to thank Houston Athletic Rugby Club - HARC, as well as both the Texas State Renegades alumni and the UNT alumni for putting it all out there on a wonderful San Marcos Saturday. The games were fun and we had a proper social after. Another big shoutout to Zelicks and Pie Society 🙌
