The course is very easily accessible, sitting approximately three miles east of IH-35, approximately 2 miles west of Texas Highway 21, and a little over 2.5 miles from the San Marcos airport. H2R is just 26 miles from downtown Austin and approximately 55 miles from downtown San Antonio. The track is a 1.8-mile, 11-turn asphalt road course. The course is 36-feet wide with over 150 feet of elevation changes and a challenging mix of on and off-camber turns, including the 80-foot rise and drop of Santa Rita (Turn 4, named after the patron saint of the impossible task). H2R operations are housed in a 6,000 square foot clubhouse overlooking 150 acres of rolling hills with a panoramic view of downtown San Marcos and Texas State University. The clubhouse is well-appointed, offering a comfortable environment where members can relax between sessions. We offer a laid-back, friendly atmosphere whether you're a pro racer or a weekend warrior (and you'll find a little of both in our existing members), and a place where you can make new friends or run into old ones. Race-Rite Battle At The Hill: Proven Winners Return for a Texas Endurance Showdown.

The Tire Rack ChampCar Endurance Series is back in San Marcos, Texas, on September 26 and 27 for the Race-Rite Battle At The Hill. Saturday features an eight-hour race, and Sunday brings a seven-hour enduro. Harris Hill Raceway’s 1.82-mile, 11-turn track will host 15 hours of racing and give teams two chances to win.

ChampCar weekend is here! 🏁

We can’t wait to welcome everyone out for a full weekend of endurance racing.

Here is a quick reminder regarding this week’s track schedule and load-in details:

Wednesday: Regular facility hours. Member teams are welcome to load in during the day! Check in with staff and we’ll guide you to your assigned pit stall.

Thursday: Gates will be completely closed for track maintenance and final ChampCar prep.

Get those cars prepped, drive safe on the way over, and let’s make it a fantastic weekend on the track! See you all soon!
