Simple, useful, and pretty accurate.

COREdio Fitness
Personal Training, Sports Performance Enhancement, Nutrition Training the human body for movement goes beyond 3-dimensional training. The result is COREdio!
Created and founded by movement specialist & sports nutritionist David Clawson, COREdio Fitness is more than a name, it's a progressive ideology behind my elite training style. Think of improving the body for life's movements combining functional strength training with integrated core conditioning, and aerobic intervals to strengthen the body as a unified whole for maximum results.
After a year of rehab, patience, and recovery from a torn rotator cuff, I'm finally back to benching some serious weight. Never thought I'd be able to barbell bench press heavy weight again, but I always say, "Water cuts through rock not from it's power, but it's persistence". Pyramid Sets from 205lbs up to 275lbs 2x.
Stability Ball 1-arm Dumbbell Chest Press. This exercise recruits & engages multiple muscle systems due to the unilateral movement and the ball's lack of stability. I found this exercise extremely effective when returning from a shoulder injury since my scapulae don't like being pinned down against a bench during chest press movements, and it targets my core for stabilization even if the weight is lighter than it typically would be during a bilateral chest press.
Sledgehammer training is a highly effective way to build cardiovascular endurance alongside speed, accuracy and functional, total body strength. So grab a sledgehammer, and SLAM!!!!
Variety is the spice of life, so varying your handprint during is an awesome way to activate & recruit different muscles in your back & arms. Fitness

Kettlebell fun! One of the main reasons I love the KB is it's a great training tool for load & movement which focuses on muscular, Fascial, neuromuscular & cardiovascular benefits to the entire body. Here I demonstrate a 1-Arm Swing to a Front Carry Catch & rotational Shoulder Press. This movement incorporates Balistic posterior strength from the swing; hand-eye coordination from the front carry catch; spiral core engagement & complete deltoid activation from the rotational Shoulder Press.
Super proud of my longtime client/friend George here! After celebrating his 60th birthday on Sunday, and recovering from degenerative disks in his lower back almost a year ago to date, he's finally working his strength, balance & coordination back up to be able to perform this advanced TRX/Kettlebell combo exercise. Shown here he demonstrates this TRX Single-Leg Balance Lunge w/ overhead High Kettlebell hold. Clearly age ain't nothing but a number, and with adequate time, proper rehab & training you can return to doing the things you enjoy!
