Missing the smiles, sunshine and summer grind!

Wishing our summer training partners ._.kearney and the best of luck as they join heading to Varese for U19 Worlds tomorrow! We’ll be rooting for you! Thanks for pushing us putting in meters… and teaching the U17s how to shift. Go USA!

The warriors of fought bravely, took risks and learned many lessons today. We had some hard fought races, eight of which resulted in grand final opportunities tomorrow. While only some of us will have oars and go out tomorrow, we did this together.

32 rowers and 5 coxswains entered 18 events today. 13 of those will have the privilege to race in the semis tomorrow against top crews from around the country. Coaches were said to have been spotted in camo shirts, but no photo evidence was available. We had laughs, some tears and learned a lot of lessons. We did this together and are excited to see what tomorrow brings.

What an incredible group of hard working young women who were all in from Day 1. Sad to be winding things down in Los Angeles but a excited for what’s ahead in Oak Ridge!
