COVID-19 Update

As of Monday, October 18th, we will once again train at the dojo.

We will follow the latest recommendations from California and Marin County guidelines:

If you decide to train at the dojo, please bring your vaccination card and show it to Goto Sensei or whoever is instructing. It will be verified and we will update our list for tracking purposes.
Keep track of the days you attend (there will be an attendance sheet). It will be for Contact Tracing if we ever need it.-Unfortunately no new visitors or new people at this time.
The dojo is considered a 'bubble' or 'pod' of people who regularly get together. No observers, etc.
Training with a mask is optional.
For now, we will continue with the same times and days- Mondays at 6 pm (dojo), Wednesdays at 8 am (Zoom), Saturdays at 10 am (dojo). We will still have ukemi practice at 9:30 am on Saturdays!

We have decided to close Bay Marin Aikido through the end of March to reduce the chance of any of our members or guests inadvertently receiving or spreading the COVID-19 virus. We hope to resume classes starting in April and will be monitoring this public health emergency closely. Please feel free to reach out to us in the meantime if you’d like more information regarding our dojo or training in Aikido. Check our website for the most updated information.

New mat ready for rolling. Great work everyone.

We will be incorporating the Juniors into our regular adult classes starting this week. Welcome them to the ranks.

The Annual 1,000 Sword Strikes is coming! Join us on January 28, 2017 as we ring in the new year with one-thousand strikes. We will get started at 10am. See you there.

Demo Day is coming! - Saturday,Dec. 10, 2016. 10:30am - Noon.

Short demonstrations will be displayed by our students by providing viewers with an introduction to the world of aikido.
