Let’s chat why these matter!👇

1) It will take longer than you think.
Remove the timelines of when you “should” be seeing progress — this adventure is all about YOU, not comparing to anyone else.

2) It doesn’t have to be perfect to make progress.
If you miss a day or two because life is crazy, don’t stress out about it. Pick up where you left off and be proud of your consistency > perfection.

3) It’s normal to not feel like it some days.
I sure don’t! But I choose to because I know I’ll feel 1000% better when I’m done (and these are often weirdly some of the best lifts!)

4) Boring = Effective.
Prepare to do the same plan for at least 4 weeks. Muscles need time to adapt and get stronger with each movement. Constantly changing it up because you get bored only slows your progress.

5)People around you won’t always understand/support your goals.
And it’s ok. Finding a like-minded community is a gamechanger to support you and push you to where you want to go!

6)Calories are your BFF!
You cannot build a house without enough bricks. Calories are key to recovery and getting stronger.

7)Rest days are necessary (not lazy).
There is too much of a good thing — too ouch lifting can be counterproductive if your body isn’t given time to recover. I love having active rest days ➡️ If I’m lifting 4-5 days a week, the other days I’ll do yoga, mobility, long walks or hikes, etc.

First off, if you don't see the scale going *only* down consistently, it is ENTIRELY possible that nothing is wrong.

• You may not be missing anything.

• You might not need to "do
MORE this week."

Let's chat WHY & WHAT to do about it…

>>> Even if you're doing EVERYTHING right, the scale will still go UP, DOWN, or NOT BUDGE at all day to day...

- Maybe because you ate more salt, didn't sleep great, or worked out harder than yesterday.

Instead of focusing on just the day-to-day number, take a look at and compare the weekly AVERAGE.

This give you much a *clearer* picture of the direction you're heading in!

You're going to be in this process for the next 3 months, 6 months, 12 months from now....

So who cares if the scale doesn't move exactly how you thought it would TODAY?

>>> Acknowledge the data, improve where you can, and keep moving!

It's more than OK to feel frustrated.
But ultimately you decide what you're going to let the scale MEAN to you...

*PS - I think it's hilarious that I weigh close to what my original heaviest weight was when I began my fitness journey, but I can say my body, relationship with food, and quality of life are 1000% different now!!

🔥 This is why my clients track their weight DAILY or not at all… if we’re going to track the data, we’re going to do it in the most beneficial and effective way.
