As we close out another week, I thought I'd share this 1/2 life-size Ibex we finished up this week.
Supplies have been slow coming in from some places lately, but we have a number of projects in the works for the next couple weeks, which include more velvet mulies, a couple oryx, a buffalo, bear, black buck and a life-size mule deer.
We just received the large batch of tanned capes I took in January, which is most of the elk and deer from last fall. Unfortunately with hunting season starting up, production will slow as we process fresh capes/hides, but we'll press on as we can.

Nice velvet mulie went home today. Old buck on the down hill growth wise, but well earned for Jeremy. Thank you sir for letting us work on him. Sorry the pics aren't great, out of room on the wall in our little shop.

We'll finish out the week with another New Mexico bull, this one a 347 6/8" Valle Caldera archery bull, and another Pope and Young entry. Thank you Steven for bringing this, and your deer, to us.
We'll have some more deer ready to go out next week, as well as starting a 1/2 life-size ibex, a bear shoulder mount, another elk and a very large buffalo shoulder mount.

Another solid NM archery bull finished up and going home tomorrow. This customer will initially put the mount on the wall, but will eventually have a floor pedestal to put him on so the hardware is inside the mount and ready for either display. Thank you Ethan for letting us put this together, and for entering him in the Pope and Young Club record book.

Big New Mexico bull headed home to Texas today. Before the complainers start, this was a draw tag in a not very popular unit, and Logan guided him to this bull.

Took the better part of a day, but we got the goat rock built. Now for coloring, snow and ice, finish work on the mount, and he can head home.

The finished wall is filling up fast!!!! We have 4 antelope, 3 mulies, 2 oryx, 2 bear rugs, a lion rug and the bobcat ready to go out this week, while starting a buffalo shoulder mount, 3 more elk and another bear rug. Be a busy couple weeks. We are doing our best to get as many projects done before seasons start next month, and will probably limit the number we take in this fall to finish catching up on our backlog. We still have several life-size mounts to get to this month and next, which take up a lot of our space, but we'll keep production rolling and get your projects to you soon.

Been a couple weeks since our last post. We've been busy putting projects together and finally getting some finish work done. We'll starting building the rock display for the mountain goat next week and get that project finished up. We have some antelope finished, and will finish some oryx, a bobcat and a couple velvet mulies next week.
Next up on the start list are some elk and a life-size mule deer, with a few more velvet bucks and oryx.
We made a run to the Idaho tannery last week, dropped off a handful of mount with customers/friends in Elko, NV and picked up a load of supplies on the way back. Almost all capes are at the tanneries, but we have a handful to send to Glacier Fur Dressing here pretty soon, then we'll be empty and ready for fall.

Bobcat mount finished up and ready for a trip home. This was Logan's first life-size bobcat, and I think it turned out great. We did have trouble getting good pictures today without rearranging the shop to get rid of the shadows, so some areas look darker than in person. But a nice looking piece none the less.
