Opening day vs closing day.

As a closing, we have been blown away by the outpouring of kinds words in comments, people swinging by or in messages. It has been an emotional last couple weeks, but we really can't thank everyone enough for their support and kindness.

Many have asked about all our future plans. Well, Dave decided this year to make a career change from being a bike mechanic. Doug will still be at Schweitzer spreading the stoke and candy. Shilo will still be acting crazy out on the trails. Jane will still be out loving on all the animals. As for me, I don't really know exactly. What I do know is I love being a bike mechanic, I love helping people and I especially love being a part of the Sandpoint community...

I learned early on that because I had "business owner" behind my name, many people were interested in what I had to say and do. We did several rides/events to raise awareness and money for local nonprofits dear to me...or simply pitched in our own time or dollars to the cause. Brian

Riding out our last season.

Due to several events over the summer, we have made the bittersweet decision to close the shop. The last day of business will be Sept 9th.

We have been honored to serve the biking community over the last 13 seasons and be a part of downtown Sandpoint. However, we feel it is best for the shop as each of us look to new opportunities in the future. We are grateful that we get the opportunity to end things on our terms, at the time we felt was right and on a high note of getting voted the Best Bike Shop (for those tracking that's 10 years in a row!).

We understand this will leave a huge void, but we are excited about the future of biking in Sandpoint. And don't worry none of us are moving away, so we will see you out on the trails!
