Takin' Time

Our hearts and love go out to the family and friends of the amazing Brian Hayes. Brian is nearing the end after battling a horrible illness. Brian was instrumental to the creation and beauty that was Takin' Time. He played a number of times on our stage solo, with Everett Smithson as Hound Dog and Fatback, and with his electric full band. Words do not properly illustrate how touched we were by his kindness and infinite talents that he shared.

Rest easy, my friend.

Our hearts are going out to Deron Trovall and their entire family as they grieve the loss of his wife, Jody. She was a wonderful, warm hearted woman and we are forever grateful that her and Deron were part of Takin' Time's magic.

There will be a whole bunch Takin’ Time alumni at the Cabooze tonight, both on and off the stage!

Max Graham's light shined so bright you could feel it deep down in your soul. We are forever grateful to have shared some epically good "Takin' Times" with him. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and the wake of mourning his departure has left.

They say you die twice, once when your body fades and again when the last person speaks your name. Max touched so many hearts in so many ways...I do believe that he will live on forever
