These last couple of weeks I've been really slack on the workouts and with my vacation coming up on Thursday, I am going to go with being slack and then start up strong November 1st. Good thing is though, I've kept my eating on point. Been dealing with a lot of things lately and am mentally and emotionally exhausted. Looking so forward to my week in paradise! Sometimes we just need to make sure we are breathing and let the rest slide to get ourselves back into a good space.

Things are definitely looking up, just having issues getting myself on a good exercise regimen. Any ideas for early morning workouts?
I've been MIA, taking the time to really work on my goals. Guess what, I DID IT! Reached my goal weight. Have a bit more toning to do, but am absolutely thrilled. As I am always open about my journeys, I had help from my doctor. Growing old isn't for the weak, and dealing with my body changes was the hardest part and I needed medical help dealing with those. Never be ashamed of needing help, we are all different, with different needs, what works for one may not work for another. Just make sure you take care of yourself physically and mentally!

First pic is last year, second pic is this year. So very proud of my progress. Getting old isn't for the weak, especially as a woman. All the internal crap we go thru changes our bodies in so many ways. I worked hard, but also had to get help from my doctor. Do what works for you and never let anyone make you feel less than you are. Your health and happiness are what matter the most, never give up on that.
So, if I went back and started teaching one early morning class, what would you like to see?
Up at 530 for some Barre Strength. Who knew a band could kick your ass, it's now 840 and my muscles are still shaking.
Started the first day of the new year by getting up early, heading out to Wally World, purchased myself a small smart TV to setup in my exercise room for my workout apps. Now sitting and watching a corny "scary" movie.
Have to wait for the hubby to get home to finish setting up my new TV, the old TV in that room is ridiculously heavy and I am not going to hurt myself on the first day of the year......lol
This is my year to finally reach all my goals. Stay tuned for updates!
A few weeks ago I downloaded the Barre3 App and have been checking it out. I fell in love with Barre a few years ago, but the instructor stopped doing early morning classes so I needed a replacement, so far so good. That, plus Beat Boxing have been making more mornings pretty good. Down 25 pounds with workouts, eating right and a little help from my doctor. Got 5 more stubborn pounds, but if I can't shake them, I'm very happy with where I am right now. Just gotta make sure I stay on track so I don't find the pounds I lost!

This mornings workout was done by the light of the Christmas tree!
Been staying on track, workouts are coming together, eating habits, don't like the word diet, are on point and down to only 5 more pounds to get to my goal weight. Now to just keep myself on track during the holidays. I will eat the yummy food, just will do so in moderation. No reason to not enjoy yourself, just need to make sure you don't over do it.
And another one bites the dust, pound that is! For full disclosure, I had to get help, my hormones were so out of whack I'd look at food and gain weight. But, that doesn't mean I didn't put in the work also, no matter how you do it, you still need to eat healthy and take care of your body. Find those workouts that work for you, find what eating habits work for you. I don't like the word diet, I don't diet, I change my eating habits that help me, but don't punish me. Remember, you just need to find what works for you. We are all different and our bodies react different to things, so do the research and find what your body needs
