.🏴‍☠️ MATCH REPORT: Match Day 6 ⚽️Perkins Pirates vs. Edison has officially become the game to watch over the last two seasons, and yesterday was no exception! It was a thrilling match for the neutral fans, but a frustrating finish for our Pirates. Once again, the boys took the lead and looked like the better team on the pitch. While the final whistle felt like a tough pill to swallow, no one can fault the tremendous effort, intensity, and heart the boys showed from start to finish! ⚔️💪⚽️ Final Score: Pirates 2, Edison 2

🏴‍☠️ MATCH RECAP: Pirates vs. #12 Ashland (9/5)
🏴‍☠️It was another incredibly tough matchup today for the Pirates, facing off against the #12 ranked team in D2. We knew it would be a challenge, and it got even harder after conceding a goal in the very first minute. After a 3-0 wake-up call in the first half, the boys got the reality check they needed regarding our game starts.The second half was a completely different story! The intensity skyrocketed, the level was raised, and the boys fought back hard—creating more chances and putting more shots on goal. Ashland managed to find the net one more time to bring the final score to 4-0, but the second-half performance gave us some massive building blocks to build on.Individual highlights:
🧤 Saves: Danny was an absolute wall, racking up a massive 16 saves!
⭐️ Man of the Match: Owen Gooding for a stellar performance.
🍩 Donut of the Day: Ryley Miller (for nearly leaving his game jersey behind at the field!).
The Pirates move to 2–3 on the season. A lot of lessons were learned today, and we are ready to carry that second-half energy into a nice run of conference games starting this Thursday.

⚽️ Tough night on the road at Port Clinton! 🏴‍☠️The Pirates JV boys put on a massive offensive show, over 15 shots on goal throughout the match. We absolutely controlled the tempo and created some beautiful chances, but the soccer gods just wouldn't let the ball cross the line for most of the night.
The breakthrough finally came in the second half when London Keller found the back of the net to put the Pirates on the board!
While we couldn't quite capitalize on all our chances, the hustle and fight were there until the final whistle.
🏆 Man of the Match: Landon Bergeman — absolute stellar performance and non-stop work rate on the pitch!
🍩 Donut of the Day: Maxx Bloom — saving the details for the locker room, but congrats on the team's favorite humorous honor!
On to the next one! Let's keep putting those shots up and the goals will follow. 💪⚽️
