Congrats to our baseball manager Alana Moran for being the first recipient of the Coach Carroll Legacy Award.

Words from Coach Byrd about Alana

Alana Moran is the perfect recipient for this scholarship. Alana is a great student, and she is an exceptional athlete. Alana carried the flag football team, the basketball team, and the volleyball team on her back several times and led them to victories that would not have been possible without her presence. Alana competed and kept a great attitude win or lose, and that is very hard to do when you lose more than you win but Alana kept her head up and competed every time. Alana was always committed to do the right thing and making sure the people around her do the right thing, her school spirit is unmatched because she competed hard for North Springs and she always cheered on her peers to do the same, and she held her self and others around her accountable to do the right thing. Alana Moran bleeds blue and orange and she has done it with pride for 4 years.
