After 5 years of training outdoors, we are back inside the "Round Building" at Hammond Park. This is where we had our first class in April 1987.

My daughter, Jenn (4th degree in Shorin Ryu Karate-do and Shudokan Karate-do), got married to Allen Page on May 11th. At the reception, Allen unveiled his short movie, The Blessing, about him asking for my blessing and subsequent scenes with my karate students. Here it is:

I am one of the administrators of this page and my personal FB account just got hacked. They changed my password and locked me out of my account, but I got back in and secured everything. I don't know if this page was vulnerable to that hack or not, but DO NOT give anyone your phone number or agree to send them a confirmation code so that they can supposedly get back into their page. Even if they are a friend and you think it seems legit. I thought I had vetted it pretty well myself but am now a little wiser for it.

April 9, 2022 is the 35th Anniversary of the Dojo. These pictures are from the weekend seminar with Jay Sandweiss Shihan from Ann Arbor, Michigan on April 2nd.

Press Release SANDY SPRINGS March 24, 2021 -- Atlanta's Traditional Okinawan Karate Dojo has been selected for the 2021 Best of Sandy Springs Award in the Martial Arts School category by the Sandy Springs Award Program.

Congratulations to Jenn Moeller on her promotion to Yondan (4th degree blackbelt) in Shorin Ryu Karate-do and to Yondan (4th degree blackbelt) in Shudokan Karate-do.

Jennifer was on a 10 day yoga and sightseeing trip to Peru. She has been stranded there after the Peruvian government closed their borders at midnight Monday. She just missed her flight back to Atlanta because of delays in the connecting flight.

Please reach out to your Senators and Congressman to urge them to have the US take steps to help return Americans to the US. There are over 700 Americans stuck in Peru. We have learned that the Israeli government has already made arrangements to retrieve their citizens in Peru (approximately 1,000). and the first flight from Israel is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
