Tsurikomi Goshi is not Morote Seoi Nage. It can look incredibly similar at times, but it is NOT the same.

Primary factor: hip fulcrum (Tsurikomi Goshi) vs. back/shoulder fulcrum (Morote Seoi Nage).

Seoi Nage = Te Waza

Tsurikomi Goshi = Koshi Waza

Koshi Waza is hip technique. The hip is the fulcrum.

Te Waza is hand technique. The hands are the driving factor.
