Black Belt Leadership Academy opened in 2008 with one purpose in mind, to help build a better community by showing that the leaders are the ones that serve their community. Within 5 years we've become one of the most well-known and loved martial arts schools in the area. We jumped in with both feet sponsoring food drives for thanksgiving, a toy drive for Christmas, back to school supplies for the
local schools, and even starting a relay for life team to encourage everyone here at the school to get more involved in the community. As we have grown as a school, our impact in the community has become more impressive. We have put together a black belt family that is always willing to step out and help out by showing up at events, performing demos, distributing water, and any other way we can help out. The staff here is well-qualified, positive role models to our students. They are courteous, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand to make sure you get the service you deserve. Everyone on our staff believes that anyone can reach black belt excellence by putting in the work and having fun at the same time. The Black Belt Leadership Academy believes in offering the highest quality of training around while also providing an environment that is positive, with a spirit of constant improvement and an attitude that refuses to give up. These values and skills will lead to remarkable improvements in academics, careers, relationships, and self-confidence, literally making a better community one black belt at a time. Our school is open to people of all ages and fitness levels with our youngest being 3 years old to our oldest being just over 90, showing that anyone can practice martial arts if they so desire. We specialize in Karate, Self-defense, Kid's Martial Arts, Fitness, character development, and Cage Fitness classes. As a result, we've been presented with the Gold Award from Century Martial Arts and the Martial Arts Industry Association. We offer a great location that is friendly to all who walk into our door. We have students who are looking for serious training, those who enjoy the exercise of it all, those who are just starting, and those returning to training. This way our doors are opened to men, women and children of all ages! People choose to train with us because we offer a safe, friendly, and a non-intimidating environment. This enables you to fully get the most of our training programs, which are comprehensive, balanced, and easy to understand so you feel comfortable in class while having what we call “serious fun”.
