📣 SSC ATHLETICS SPOTLIGHT 📣
Our spotlight series continues as we proudly recognize one of the most important people working behind the scenes for Sanger Athletics — Dani Garcia! 💜💛
As the Athletics Secretary for the boys and girls athletic directors, Dani plays a vital role in keeping the entire department organized, on schedule, and moving forward every day. From managing calendars and communication to coordinating countless details for coaches, athletes, and events, she is truly one of the people who helps hold Sanger Athletics together.
Now entering her fourth year at Sanger High School, Dani brings an incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to connect with people. Those qualities were shaped during her more than 15 years working as a nail technician and hairstylist before beginning this chapter of her career.
Dani and her husband, Coach Zach Garcia, are proud members of the Sanger family and are raising their four children — Ean, Aiden, Zane, and Paisley — right here in the community.
The coaches and athletes may get the spotlight on game day, but none of it runs smoothly without the dedicated people working behind the scenes. Dani is the glue that helps keep the ship moving forward and on time, and Sanger Athletics is better because of her.
Thank you, Dani Garcia, for everything you do for our coaches, student-athletes, schools, and community! 👏
💜💛 For the Team. For the Town. For the Tribe.

Championship programs are built by more than coaches and athletes—they’re built by the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep those athletes healthy, confident, and ready to compete. Today, we’re excited to recognize another outstanding member of the Sanger Sports Medicine team…
💜💛 Mariah Jones – Sports Medicine Trainer | Sanger High School 💛💜
Now entering her 4th year at Sanger ISD, Mariah has become an invaluable part of the Indian athletic family. After earning her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Baylor University, she began her career at Sanger just one week after getting married—and hasn’t looked back.
Whether she’s evaluating injuries, helping athletes through rehabilitation, or celebrating their return to competition, Mariah is passionate about making a difference in the lives of every student-athlete she serves.
Away from the field, Mariah and her husband, Justin, stay busy raising their daughter and young son, along with their two Scooby-Doo look-alike dogs that keep life fun and entertaining.
Thank you, Mariah Jones, for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to caring for our athletes every single day. Your work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is seen every time an athlete gets back on the field, court, or track.

Behind every successful athlete is someone working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep them healthy, safe, and ready to compete. Today, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on one of Sanger’s very best…
💜💛 Ashley Rogers – Head Athletic Trainer | Sanger High School 💛💜
For the past 6 years, Ashley has dedicated her career to caring for student-athletes through every challenge—from injury prevention and treatment to rehabilitation and helping them return to the sports they love.

While much of her work happens behind the scenes, the countless hours, long days, and unwavering support she provides make an incredible difference in the lives of Sanger athletes.
She and her husband, Coach Chance, have had the unique opportunity to work together at Sanger, pouring into the same student-athletes and sharing a passion for helping young people succeed both on and off the field.
