The newest record book for ADHSHL has been released. Thank you and for the hard work and dedication to all the players and promoting the league! After going through a lot of former games and player stats, it’s been determined that 2024 Servite Athlete of the Year Gio Capraro ‘24 is the All Time Point Leader for the ADHSHL with numbers that will keep him there for a while. And to think, these are only counting his Varsity stats and he only played 3 season! Great job Gio and thank you !

Our teacher of the year, Mr. Mike Marshall was recently featured in an OC Catholic article!
“Although I’ve played for many coaches in my hockey career, Mr. Marshall continues to be my favorite coach because of his care for each of his players and the respect he has for us,” Ryan Kovats ‘26 said. “Mr. Marshall continues to support me in my hockey career and wants the best for me while always pushing me to be my best.”

Despite the tough loss, the biggest win for the Servite hockey family was seeing Sebastian “Sea-Bass” Aceves #36 make his return to gameplay. Aceves entered the game in the 3rd with the support of his teammates. Making some outstanding saves, it was a powerful moment and a great story that you can read below.
“Sebastian was injured during a hockey tournament in Carlsbad over Labor Day weekend. He suffered a deep laceration and two torn tendons in his wrist, and one torn tendon in his thumb, requiring emergency surgery and 18 stitches. He has endured 4+ months of physical therapy to prepare himself for a safe return to hockey.
Throughout his recovery, he has encountered many people who have shown him that healing is not just physical. Mental, emotional, and spiritual healing is just as important.
While not being able to practice, he has used his free time to create a new club with his school counselor to support student athletes and their mental health challenges. He performed in his first theatrical performance and made new friends in a space he had never ventured in before. He returned to Servite High School 5 days after surgery and was immediately welcomed by his classmates and aided him throughout the day.
His faith in God lead him to persevere, and the support of the Servite and hockey community gave him strength.
After returning to play hockey with Servite High School on Sunday, he saw firsthand what the Servite Brotherhood is about, and the meaning of Credo.“
