In 2011, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Concordia University Irvine. In 2013, Dr. Cholula successfully obtained an Education Doctorate in Psychology (Ed.D) from Argosy University. His research focused on parental involvement among Spanish-speaking parents from the rural San Luis Valley, Colorado, where he worked as an outpatient counselor and adjunct professor. At this time, Dr. Cholula is a licensed professional counselor from the state of Colorado and a licensed psychologist in California.
