HigherSelf Personal Training philosophy - if you have a HigherPower you will have a HigherPurpose. Without purpose, we wither and die. Without direction, we are motionless, without breath there is no storm, without thought, there is no dream, without action, there is no life. You might not be where you want to be, but you also have a choice - getting more displaced or getting to change. You can fall in love with this process and the most beautiful part is that the process never needs to end... do you make time to eat? then you are already making time for yourself. TRX Hamstring and ButtBlast w/ Battle Ropes!! This targets the bicep femoris (stabilizing part of hamstrings) and outer glutes. Phenomenal for building density and thickness to the hammies and glutes!! Then finish them off with reverse lunges and an alternating wave for an added bonus cardio blast! 8-12 Reps, 3 sets, ropes 10 - 20 sec. Have fun!!

Phenomenal exercise to squeeze the most contraction out of your chest press! Twisting rotation not only squeezes the deepest contraction, but protects the shoulders if you have rotator cuff issues. This rotates the shoulders away from the normal pinching point clearing with deep contraction. Have a good time building, boosting, forming, and forming your chest and pecs.

Over 50 yoga and mobility can be fun and life-changing. If you can move more, you can do more, you will live more!! Yoga takes patience and self-compassion. It's tougher to stick to because we don't see and experience visible results the way we do with weight training. Our clothes generally fit a little better, but mostly how we carry ourselves, how we move, and easily maneuver the day with greater confidence, poise, strength, balance, flexibility, and breathing, are the greatest of the results from simple floor exercises done three to seven days a week.
