How to quit sugar?

Step 2: Limit Your Intake & Seek Alternatives

Fresh berries are an excellent choice, as they offer both fiber and antioxidants. Another option is 70% dark chocolate, which is rich in flavanols.

Remember, small steps towards reducing sugar intake can lead to significant improvements in your overall well-being.

How to quit sugar?

Step 1: Pay Attention & Read Labels! 🏷️

Take the initiative to flip the box, sauce, and treat over and carefully examine the labels and ingredients. Notice the amount of hidden sugar lurking within!

By becoming aware of ingredients, you'll naturally find it easier to put products back on the shelf.

It’s no secret that we hate sugar over here at DFX! The truth is, breaking free from a lifelong sugar habit can be challenging, especially when it's saturated in many of the foods you consume daily. However, two steps to get you started will be shared in our next post, or set up a call with for personalized nutrition. Link in bio!

Looking to take your muscle-building journey to the next level? Follow these science-backed strategies! 💪

1️⃣ Start with two total-body workouts per week to optimize muscle growth and flexibility. 2️⃣ Train almost to failure in each set to engage different muscle fibers and promote muscle size. 3️⃣ Perform 10 to 20 working sets per week on each muscle group for maximum muscle development. 4️⃣ Do more total work over time by progressively increasing weight, reps, or sets. 5️⃣ Eat 0.6 to 1.4 grams of protein per pound of body weight per day to support muscle protein synthesis.

Ready to create an effective total-body workout? Choose exercises from these categories:

1️⃣ Knee-dominant lower-body exercises: Squats, split squats, lunges, and leg press target your quadriceps, calves, glutes, and core stabilization.

2️⃣ Hip-dominant lower-body exercises: Deadlifts, Romanian deadlifts, step-ups, glute bridges, and rear foot-elevated split squats focus on your hamstrings and glutes.

3️⃣ Horizontal pressing: Bench presses, pushups, chest press machine, and resistance band presses engage your chest and triceps.

4️⃣ Pulling exercises: Horizontal seated cable or resistance band rows, lat pulldowns, barbell or dumbbell rows, inverted bodyweight rows, or pull-ups to work your back muscles and biceps. For variety, include one vertical and one horizontal pull.

5️⃣ Vertical presses: Barbell, dumbbell, or resistance band overhead presses target your deltoids, chest, and triceps.

Mix and match these exercises to create a well-rounded total-body workout routine. 💪

Did you know that building muscle goes beyond aesthetics? It can significantly impact your overall well-being! 💥 Resistance training, like weightlifting or bodyweight exercises, promotes better insulin sensitivity, increases metabolism, and enhances glucose metabolism. 💪

Take the step to prioritize your health and incorporate strength training into your routine. Your body will thank you! 🌟

Personal training or group classes: Which one suits your fitness journey?
