New class alert! 💪Come workout with your teen/tween this summer . First class FREE!

The best way to teach healthy habits is to model them ourselves. Come workout with your child this summer at our women-focused fitness studio. Best for moms with children aged 9-16 (suggested age range)

Our small group classes are designed to help you build strength, improve your endurance and flexibility and build confidence with exercise. This all levels class is perfect for those new to working out or building on existing skills. Leave sweating with a smile !

Our series runs on Wednesdays at 1:00 from June 12th-August 14th. Additional class times will be added upon demand (comment below your requests!) Purchase a membership, punchcard or drop in class. Children included in class rate.

Mama - if you’ve been doing the same workout and not seeing the results you want, you probably need more strength training in your life!!

Does this sound familiar? — You join a cardio-based fitness studio or get a bike or tread for at home and start seeing results, and then … plateau.

Why does this happen? Our bodies are smart. And adapt quickly. So if you aren’t continually challenging yourself with progressive overload (increasing weight, intensity, type of movement, number of reps, etc) then you’re going to stall out pretty quick. Strength training is a great way to achieve this — continue to build muscle, burn fat and boost your metabolism so you’re an efficiently running machine 🔥

At Sage we are constantly challenging you in new ways, as you build more muscle and endurance there is always room to keep notching the dial up and our coaches are GREAT at helping you push yourself in the right ways to avoid injury.

Said best by Dr Stacy Sims. And I think about this every week when I sit down to program for all my clients and members at gym. 🤔 There is no one size fits all approach to fitness, which is why a women’s only fitness studio that caters to what YOU need is such an asset for women in their 30s, 40s & 50s. Read on… ⬇️

For example… 2 months ago my husband and I wanted to focus on our health and drop some of the “fluff”. He went low carb, high protein and starting going to high intensity boxing classes. In 2 months he dropped 10 lbs, got shredded again and feels better then ever. 😮

I can tell you right now this approach would not work for me in the long run. My body and hormones do not respond in the same way to continuous high intensity exercise and I NEED more carbs in the second half my cycle to not feel depleted. By doing the same program as him I would have just trashed my adrenal system and shot my cortisol levels through the roof … stalling all progress and fat loss. [I know this from experience 😬]

She recently moved to Santa Barbara bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to serve the community.

How does your posture affect how your core functions? 👉 It all comes down to pelvic position. This hands on workshop will focus on assessing your posture and identifying weaknesses and muscle imbalances to help you better connect with your core and address issues like diastasis recti or low back pain. For women of all ages.

What is the 8 week GLOW UP? 💪
This is a HYBRID program, meaning you can do classes in studio and online. As part of your membership you not only get access to in-person classes & events but have an entire program for you to do at home for the days you can’t make it.

Why? — Because if you really want to see progress during the next 8 weeks, you need to be doing a bit more than just coming to class once a week. True wellness takes a holistic approach. We strive to help you create mindfulness around habits, nutrition and daily movement all within a structured plan. Maybe it’s a subtle correction, or a cue that helps you dial in your form on a particular exercise.
