June is Scoliosis Awareness Month đŠś
Scoliosis affects millions of people worldwide, yet many individuals donât realize they have it until changes in posture, balance, or comfort begin to show up in everyday life.
While scoliosis is often thought of as a sideways curve of the spine, every curve is uniqueâand so is every person living with it.
At Movement of Pilates, weâre passionate about helping individuals better understand their bodies, move with confidence, and find strategies that support strength, function, and quality of life.
Awareness is the first step. Education is the next. đ
Do you know someone with scoliosis? Share this post to help spread awareness this month.

Think about that for a moment.
Every challenge.
Every setback.
Every season you werenât sure youâd make it through.
Your body has been there through all of it.
Maybe it doesnât always feel perfect.
Maybe it doesnât always do what you want it to.
But it has carried you farther than you often give it credit for.

With a passion for bridging movement and mental wellness, Tiffany Henry discovered Pilates in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the practice. Before even completing her tenth session, she knew she wanted to become a certified instructor. What began as a personal connection to movement has since grown into a deeply rooted career centered on helping others feel stronger, more connected, and supported in their bodies.
Tiffany is a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor through and is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has developed a specialized approach that blends traditional Pilates with mindfulness and nervous system regulation, creating a unique experience that supports both physical and mental well-being.
She especially enjoys working with clients who are new to Pilates, as well as those who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or navigating painâwhether physical or emotionalâand she has a special place in her work for children. Tiffany is passionate about helping clients slow down, tune in, and build a deeper relationship with their bodies in a way that feels supportive and accessible.
Her teaching style is intentional, calming, and educational. She emphasizes breath, awareness, and control, creating a space where clients can move with purpose while also learning how to regulate their nervous system both in and out of the studio.
Clients can expect to leave her sessions feeling grounded, supported, and more connectedâboth physically and mentallyâwith practical tools they can carry into their daily lives.
She especially enjoys working with the Chair in her own practice for its ability to challenge strength and clearly track progress, while she loves teaching on the Tower for its precision and ability to isolate and refine movement through spring-based work.
As co-owner of Movement Of Pilates, Tiffany is passionate about creating a studio that feels safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all bodies. She is dedicated to building a community where clients cannot only grow stronger, but also feel seen, supported, and empowered in their overall well-being.

Today is about remembrance.
We honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.
Itâs also a reminderâ
that the ability to move, to breathe, to show up in our bodiesâŚ
is something we donât have to take for granted.
So today, if you move your bodyâ
do it with gratitude.
Not for how it looks.
Not for how hard you push.
But simply because you can.
