GRIT OCR PARTNERSHIP UPDATE

For the past eight years, the Grit OCR partnership team has worked tirelessly to deliver an unparalleled obstacle course racing experience. With passion, dedication, and a shared love for this community, we’ve created seven unforgettable events that have left a lasting impact on participants and volunteers alike.

After much reflection, we must share the bittersweet news that our current partnership is coming to an end. While this decision was not easy, it is the best path forward as our strategic goals and commitments have diverged.

Moving forward, Grit OCR will transition to new leadership. Antonio Alletto will continue the journey, while Malorie Alletto, Terry Majamaki, and Jenny Majamaki will step away. The event will evolve under a new partnership, which will be announced soon.

The next Grit OCR is planned for fall 2025, and we’re committed to ensuring it remains an exceptional experience for our community. Stay tuned for updates as we move into this exciting new chapter.

To our incredible participants and volunteers: thank you for your unwavering support. These past eight years have been extraordinary, and we’re deeply grateful for the memories we’ve created together. Grit OCR has always been about challenging limits, building strength, and the community, and we can’t wait to see you back on the trails.

In October, we wrapped up our racing year with the SPACEROCK Trail Race, an astounding event. The 2024 race year was remarkable, thanks to the extraordinary runners and dedicated volunteers who joined our races and made each one awesome.

Everyone involved in our races, including runners, volunteers, sponsors, and family contributed to making 2024 a memorable year. We are deeply touched by the immense support from our race family who wholeheartedly participate in each event. Thank you for being a part of this journey together.

Organizing these races is our passion. We work tirelessly throughout the year to deliver an unforgettable “race day” experience. As we dive headfirst into planning for 2025, we’re thrilled to continue enhancing our signature race experiences. While we can’t wait to share our exciting plans, for now, take a moment to pat yourself on the back and celebrate your running achievements this year!
