That’s a wrap on the 11u season for this group of boys. From the first tournament in March until the championship game yesterday at the Rangers Rodeo, this team has improved tremendously! Kids were willing to try new position and build another tool to improve their game.
While we came up a bit short in our last tournament, these boys did not give up and showed a lot of heart as they finished Runner-up in the Gold division. We finished the weekend 4-1 and saw 4 home runs from these boys.
To put into perspective, this team was 8-8 at the end of June. They finished the season 19-9 which means they were 11-1 in the month of July with an 11-game winning streak that ultimately came to an end in yesterday’s championship game. Plus, 5 of these boys became part of the bomb 💣 squad this year with hitting their first career home runs!
We are super proud of these boys and their development over the course of this year!
