I have a customer who is selling this road bike in Arizona. I believe it is from 2007-8 and is in remarkable condition. It will fit a 6' rider and it has Campagnolo Record-10 group with Rolf Prima wheels, FSA cranks, bar, stem and post. It has a Sella Italia SLR saddle and speedplay pedals. There's even a set of sz. 43 road shoes. The tubing is Easton Scandium GX2 flared- the best stuff I ever had access to. Sadly, the rider recently passed away. Contact for the seller is [email protected] asking price is $ 1,600.

Got one for sale - big tire gravel expedition bike with mix of Shimano GRX and 105 mechanical. It's all cables, even the flat mount Zeno disc brakes. This one is made for someone who likes simple fixes when out on the open road miles from civilization. Frame is steel, carbon fork has lots of mounts on it. There's a nice set of Shimano carbon wheels and a Praxis carbon crankset. It is 1x11 and there's a King headset. Here's the numbers:
Stack .........607
reach..........336
seat tube c/t/c 454
effective top tube 500
BB drop.........75
Chainstay ......430

This one will fit 700x47 tires and has rack mounts. It's good for someone with a short torso and long legs, maybe around 5'6".

$ 3,000. it's new - seldom do I have extra stuff like this around so this is an opportunity to get a bike for about $ 1,600 less than if you order it- also , you won't have to wait. Bike is in the shop at Rock Lobster cycles.

Got the new team socks in. You can get them through the web store or you can come to the Surf City CX race at the Crest Ranch on October. 25-26 and pick them up in person. While you are at it, might as well register and race.....what could possibly go wrong ? Hey-I'm doing it and I'm 70 years old.

Well , you don't know what you got until it's gone ? Let's see what's gone in the world of Bay Area cyclocross as of 2025: The CCCX cyclocross series that included Ft. Ord, Manzanita park, Toro park, CSUMB, and other spots. How about the superprestige series ? That would be Coyote point, Sierra point night race, Golden Gate park, Candlestick point and others. How about the Bike Monkey series ? Remember when Surf City had the races at Watsonville fairgrounds , Soquel High, Harbor High, Aptos High .......those were good times. But as time goes on, things go away- this year our CX team lost both Larry Bullard and Dave Wyandt. Not the easiest year 2025....not for many. But there's one thing you all can help keep from vanishing- the Surf City Crest ranch race on Oct. 25-26. If everyone shows up , it will be like it was back in the day when the fall weekends were for CX and we all got together and had a great time - races all day and people cheer for you , even when you are dead last . This isn't gravel, it's not road and it isn't MTB racing or BMX. This is cyclocross where it does not cost $ 200 and you don't have to have a sprinter van with an outdoor shower and solar panel-of course, you would be stylin' if you did.
Pleas show up. race- heckle, or just bear witness to something that can bring so many people regardless of their ability or expectations together. What other sport offers first timer women free entries ? - it's like that.......it is inclusive, not exclusive. It's hilarious- costume race, doggie cross.....you never know what is going to happen .....so come up to the Crest Ranch and see it happen while it's still happening. Here's some old photos to get you in the mood.

Got an old customer who is selling this CX frame- it was never built up. It is made of Easton Scandium and has a QR rear dropout. It has a 44 mm ID head tube for a tapered steerer fork. Top tube is 540, seat tube 525 c/t/c . It is made for a 395 a/c fork such as an Enve. It also has a Jen Green silver headbadge. It is a special frame made from materials no longer available. If you are interested contact Kevin at (920) 225-5515 or email [email protected] . The frame is located in Wisconsin.
