What a great weekend for the Shaffer Park crew at the Ventura Highland Games. This is the first year we entered the Lowrey Cup Team competition and we came in 5th. Not too bad considering there was only 3 of us competing against teams of 10!

Next year, WE field a team of 10 and show them who really deserves it!!

Way to go John B. and Michael & Carrie!

We had the honor of hosting some the APX VELOCITY crew at Shaffer Park this weekend! We showed them each of the events and gave them an opportunity to give it a try. And it looks like they had a pretty good time, doesn’t it?

it’s always a great day when we get to share our sport with new people and get them excited to hopefully come back again!

Thanks to APX VELOCITY for a great day!
