A nonprofit arts organization dedicated to providing accessible dance education in Santa Cruz. Motion Pacific is a 501(c)3 charitable arts organization.
All Youth/Teen Classes currently held at London Nelson Community Center. Adult Classes currently held at London Nelson Community Center & The 418 Project. Motion Pacific offers over 1500 dance classes a year to students from two-years-old. 🌴 Rotating Intermediate Hip Hop starts TONIGHT! 🌴
The new structure for Hip Hop at Motion is exciting — we’re inviting different instructors with different styles to take over the class, each for a few weeks at a time. Because variety is the spice of life! 🌶️
The class will always be on Thursdays from 7-8pm, but instructor/style will change on a rotating basis.

Motion Pacific is going to truly miss the amazing Dani Valadez-Powell. Dani, who instructs across our youth and adult programs, is stepping away from her role as hip-hop dance teacher. She shared that it has been an honor to teach at Motion Pacific and take part in our inspiring and supportive dance community. She remains grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented students and dedicated staff.
❣️ Dani will be teaching ONE MORE Adult Intermediate Hip Hop Class. Please join us for her last class at Motion Pacific, this Thursday from 7pm-8pm ❣️
