TRE® WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

Online Workshop with Maria Alfaro
Saturday, May 21st, 10-12pm PST, $45.00

TRE is a simple, gentle and profound technique that facilitates the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional tension and stress. The TRE exercises mildly tire the legs, triggering an involuntary shaking and trembling response, which begins in the legs and often spreads throughout the body. This natural response is the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension and unconscious body contraction, caused by everyday stress and traumatic life experiences, in order to restore the body to wholeness. TRE was developed by Dr. David Berceli, a bio-energetic therapist and social worker, who used it successfully worldwide working with soldiers, firefighters, police officers and survivors of war, natural disasters and other traumatic circumstances to help alleviate the many symptoms of post-traumatic stress. TRE is taught in 78 countries worldwide.

Reported benefits include:

Decrease anxiety
Release chronic tension
Discharge emotional and physical trauma
Increase energy and flexibility
Improve sleep and mood
Decrease of aches, pains and symptoms of fibromyalgia and sciatica

This is an online workshop on Zoom.

yoga therapy short : super slow rolling, turning and unwinding 05/07/2021

Hi this is Padma.
These are some of the things I have been working with this past year to help settle my nervous system
and refine how i Interact with my movements. Movement has been my way to listen to my body, acknowledge what is moving through
me and find enough nourishment in order to support all that arises. Staying curious, present and meeting all of myself with care.
I hope you find a gift in this way of moving.
If you would like to join class, I am teaching restorative and unwinding yoga therapy every Tuesday 9:30am-10:30am

Join Kacey Rodenbush on Facebook LIVE in a soul nourishing sonic journey through the Golden Hour to bring our collective healing energies together and create a bright spot as we all Shelter in Place.

Kacey will offer a virtual sound bath, sharing the vibrational resonance of her rainbow crystal singing bowls, each tuned pitch perfect to the frequencies of the chakras to encourage release of energetic blockages in the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Kacey will also weave the sounds of the buffalo drum, crystal pyramid, ocean drum and Koshi chimes into the experience, all intended to enrich the soundscape and support a deeper settling of the nervous system.

In preparation, please find a comfortable space in your home where you can lay in Savasana, either on the floor on a yoga mat or a blanket, or in bed. If you have outside space available to you and weather permits, being as close to nature is encouraged as the sun sets during our time together you will receive the added benefit and of incorporating the earth elements into the sound vibrations shared.
